All songs on this album are based on the famous American painter Edward Hopper, hence the title. At the same time you get the musical story about mister and misses Miller. This album reminds musically of Closing Time by Tom Waits, combined with the luxury of Pink Martini. Blue and Broke is a band from Belgium with singer Melissa Anthuenis, guitar player and songwriter Pedro De Bruyckere (also known for his books on education), keyboard player Danny Verstraete, bass player Augustijn Willemsson Vermandere and percussionist Niels Delvaux.
