the long anticipated album by Harry Merry & the Must. Harry Merry has gained a worldwide cult following ever since his first Tocado-records album "well; heres another nice mess youve got me into" saw the light of day. Harry toured Europe and the states extensively and released a second album called the Shunt (also on Tocado) and an LP caleed first contact" containing old rarities on Ole records. Even before the release of his first album Harry secretly formed a band with bassplayer Bruno Ferro Xavier da Silva (Stoma, Dr Schnitt, DooDoos Coffee etc.), drummer Wouter van Wijk (Stoma, DooDoos Coffee, Clayborn), and guitarplayer Martin Ruyten (Cheech Wizard, Firetime). The band is called The Must and with this 4 piece band Harry Merry did a session with London based producer Tony Mc Adam which resulted in 4 recorded songs. It wasnt before Harry first solo album was released that the final mix of these recordings surfaced at the Tocado-records headquarters. Ever since the label has been pushing Harry and his merry mates to get their act together and reform the Must. Finally the band started rehearsing and playing early 2007. In january 2008 Harry Merry & the Must started working with Ed Fonckeltoff at the Epic Entrum studio in Rotterdam to record 6 brand new songs especially written by Harry for the Must. These recordings are finally finished and ready to be released. The album is called Veronika and will contain 10 songs and a drum&bass remix by Nanko (laterax records) of the R&B slam; the albums single. Tracklisting: 1. Turnpikes and roundabouts 2. Jailbird 3.
