The third MindMaze album "Resolve" is the group's first foray into the vast expanse of conceptual albums. Resolve deals with the universal concepts of loss and the coping mechanisms people use in the face of guilt, blame, absence, and the road that must be traveled in order to gain perspective. "Resolve" reprises the band's ever-present influences from bands like Queensryche, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Savatage, and a mixture of contemporary power metal and melodic rock hooks and songwriting while moving the band further into progressive and theatrical territory with more atypical song structures used to best serve the concept of the album.
