The Origin of Energy is the third full-length album by Rhinestone Lives. This follow-up to 2007 release Exit Wounds brings a new emotional landscape to the already blossoming Rhinestone Lives repertoire. The Origin of Energy, recorded at Studio Moliere in March 2009, is held together thematically with lyrical images of stormy seas and screaming for God through the waves. The songs that make the record range from danceable pop-rock tunes, epic stories of love and loss to the finely crafted heartwarming songs that make Rhinestone Lives so real. With the help of Eric Renwart and a group of passionate musicians, Marja, who is the only permanent member and songwriter of this musical journey, was able to create a clear sounding record.
