Two weeks before the release of Born To Run, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were booked to play a five day, 10 show run at The Bottom Line club, in Greenwich Village, New York City - an event that would be listed among the 50 Moments That Changed Rock and Roll by Rolling Stone magazine. Their residency received widespread media attention, and West Soho -based WNEW-FM was brought in to broadcast the early show on 15th August 1975. It is this performance that is included in its entirety on this set, giving listeners today the opportunity to relive one of rock musics pivotal gigs.
